What is a race bib, and what do I do with it?
  • Your race bib is the thin, rectangular number assigned to you for the race.
  • Use the provided safety pins to attach it to the
front of your outermost layer, such as the front of
    your shirt or jacket.
  • The thin sticker on the back is your timing tag.
Do not remove the timing tag or fold the bib.
  • Your bib must remain visible throughout the race.
Can someone pick up my packet for me?

Yes! Someone else may pick up your race packet, and you
may pick up packets for other participants.

Have each participant forward you the email they receive during race
week containing their name and bib number.

Please make sure the participant knows you are picking up their packet
so that duplicate pick-ups are avoided.
Is race-day registration available?

Yes! Race-day registration is now available.
Register online here.

Your bib number will appear immediately on the confirmation screen.
You can then pick up your bib inside the Troy Atrium at the same location
used by pre-registered runners.

How do I manage my registration?

Access your ZippyReg Registrant Portal through the link in your
confirmation email or
visit the portal here.

How do I join a group or team after registering?
  1. Log in to your
    Registrant Portal.
  2. Select Team Management.
  3. Select the Join a Team button.
  4. Choose the team you would like to join.
When and where can I pick up my packet?

Packet pick-up dates, times and locations are listed on the
Event Schedule page.

Can I receive a refund if I cannot participate?

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds. Registration revenue is invested
into the event well in advance of race day.

Where can people spectate?

There are plenty of places to watch throughout the course. Spectators
should remain clear of the roadway and runners—and are encouraged to
cheer loudly!

Are headphones, strollers or pets permitted?

No. Headphones, strollers and pets of any kind are not
permitted in the 5K, 10K or Grade School Mile. Using or bringing these
items may result in disqualification.

Exception: Strollers are permitted in the Turkey Walk.
Is there a bag check?

Yes. Bag check will be available at the Regional Food
Bank of Northeastern New York’s large box truck, located near
Broadway and Third Street.

  • Bring your own bag to check.
  • Volunteers will attach your bib number to the bag.
  • You will use your bib number to claim your bag after the event.
Please consider bringing non-glass food items to donate to the Regional
Food Bank when you check your bag.
Which roads will be closed?

Please review the complete
