Our Virtual events are self-timed events that you track during our virtual running window of 6a on Thursday, Nov 24 through 6p on Sunday, Nov 27. Record your 5k, 10k, Grade School Mile or Turkey Walk time on a course of your own choosing, and then upload your results into our registration platform.

All virtual participants receive a shirt, bib and finisher medal. You can choose to have your packet mailed to you during the registration process, or to pick-up in person.

Frequently Asked Questions

When/where do I pickup my packet?

You can pick-up your packet in-person during our normal in-person packet pickup windows, or you can have your packet mailed as an add-on. Those who selected this option by 11/15 will receive packets by Thanksgiving. Those registered after 11/15 who select the mailing add-on will receive packets after Thanksgiving.

I paid to have my packet mailed. When will it arrive?

Virtual runners who paid to have their packets mailed by 11/15 will get their packets by race day. If you are a virtual runner and bought gloves as an add-on, gloves will be included in that packet. 

Those virtual runners who registered after 11/15 will get their packets after Thanksgiving. You can still run during the running window though! You don't need your packet to participate.

How do I find my registration details?

Click the Participant Lookup to see your bib number and registration details. You can also manage your profile here.

When can I run/walk?

You can run/walk your event any time between 6:00 am on Thursday, November 24 until 6 pm on Sunday, November 27

Do I have to run on a specific course?

No - you can run on any route you would like that matches your distance.

Do I download a specific app?

There is no event-specific app to download this year. You can use your standard running GPS app (see list here) to note your distance and time, or just use a watch on a known course. You will manually upload your results after your run to our registration platform.

How do I submit results

You can submit your results following this process:

  1. Log into Your RunSignup Account here: runsignup.com/Login
  2. Go to Your Profile: runsignup.com/Profile
  3. Click Submit Virtual Results on the Event for which You have Results

How do I submit photos?

Once you submit your results (see question above on how to do this), you have the option to submit photos.

What if I can't complete my run/walk in the week allocated?

That's OK. We know that might happen. You will still receive your shirt and medal, but you won't be included in the results.

Do I have to prove my time?

We are offering the opportunity to upload a file, but you do not have to do this. You can just time yourself and input the time into our form. This is based on this honor system. There are no awards for the Virtual events.

My family wants to take pictures. How can I share those?

We would love to see pictures! You can upload them at the same time you input your time. We would also love to have you share your photos on social media and use #TTT2022.

 

What else do I need to do?

Nothing! Just have fun covering the distance and have a great Thanksgiving Day & Holiday.
