Virtual Event Info
The 73rd Edition of the Troy Turkey Trot will be conducted virtually. This is a virtual run or walk, done on your own or in small groups wherever you choose. You can track yourself and race your friends and family using the Troy Turkey Trot app. Once registered you will get an email on how to download the app. Real time running will start at 10am on Thanksgiving morning along with a Facebook Live event. We would love to have as many people run at the same time on Thanksgiving morning at 10am but if you cannot run then you can run anytime From 10am Thursday until Saturday November 28th at 11pm.
Results will be automatically uploaded from the app to our site via a live leaderboard. Results can also be uploaded via Strava or submitted via the results portal.
We have upgraded the 10k/5k swag this year to a really nice long sleeve t-shirt and a 2 ply commemorative face mask with the option to upgrade to a hoodie shirt or even to save $5 and choose not to have a shirt.
Walk and Grade School Mile participants will get a mask and have the option to purchase a shirt as an add-on.

We have also instituted age-based pricing to help keep costs down for families. Children 14 and under can sign up for the 5k or 10k for just $15.
Those who register after November 1st will have another drive through packet pickup in Mid-December. You can also choose to have your packet mailed to you. Drive through Packet Pick-up will take place from Sunday 11/22 through Wednesday 11/25 from 10am to 4pm. More details to follow soon.
Don’t forget to form a team! Teams will be scored for all traditional categories so get the family together or make a team with friends.
There will be awards- All those racing with the app or using the app to upload Strava data from a GPS watch will be eligible for individual and team awards.
Best Finish Line
There will be a “Best finish line” contest too! Get out the banners, rope, tape, and decorate your finish line. The masses will vote on the best version of a finish line. More details to come.
