Charities

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks for our family, health, friends and all the material blessings we have. We hope you will remember those less fortunate and consider making a “Donation of Thanks” to one of our charities as you go through the registration process.
Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York
The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York is a non-profit organization that works to alleviate hunger and prevent food waste. It collects large donations of food from the food industry for distribution to charitable agencies feeding hungry people in a 23-county region of northeastern New York. The Food Bank works in partnership with all segments of the food industry, including manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, growers, and brokers that donate food. This food is stored at the Food Bank’s 70,000-square-foot warehouse in Latham and then distributed to food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters and other charitable agencies. In 2020, the Food Bank provided 55.8 million pounds of food to 1,000 agencies.
